Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Red Wings
Rochester designated hitter Paul Lo Duca was instrumental in his team's 4-3 win over the Columbus Clippers. Lo Duca, who is tied for 9th in the ATL in hits with 66, went 4-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Red Wings. Rochester reliever Dale Polley was credited with the win, to go to 2-3. Vladimir Nunez took the loss for Columbus. Even with the win, the Red Wings have a dismal 12-40 record.

The Rochester win was a team effort. It included major contributions from, among others, David Hulse. In the bottom of the 11th, the Rochester pinch hitter came to bat and hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 4-3 lead.
