Sky Sox Topple Rainiers with Late Rally

Colorado Springs right-hander Bob Wolcott helped his team edge Tacoma by the score of 3-2. Wolcott kept the opposing lineup in check. Curtis King picked up the save for Colorado Springs, his 10th of the year. The third-place Sky Sox have won 4 straight.
Colorado Springs relied on the hitting of Mitch Meluskey to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sky Sox on top, 2-1. For the game, Meluskey had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Meluskey said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
