Diamondbacks Send to Detroit

Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Arizona and Detroit as the teams came to an agreement today which sends nothing to the Tigers and 27-year-old RHP Steve Trachsel to the Diamondbacks. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Detroit GM.
During his career the 27-year-old Trachsel has piled up 843.2 innings. Over that time, he has fanned 713 batters, walked 329 and put up a 5.54 ERA. His lifetime won-lost mark is 41-61 and opposing clubs have hit .257 against him.
