Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Arizona and Florida as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 28-year-old RHP Scott Sanders, 34-year-old RHP Marvin Freeman and 34-year-old CF Lance Blankenship to the Marlins and 27-year-old RHP Aaron Sele and 31-year-old CF Tony Barron to the Diamondbacks. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the Florida GM.


Looking at his all-time stats, Blankenship has a lifetime .230 average with 1125 hits, 338 doubles, 10 triples, 53 home runs and 427 RBIs. To date he has scored 823 runs, walked 1018 times and stolen 288 bases.

Since coming into the league, Sele has a 61-56 mark and a 3.96 ERA. The 27-year-old hurler also has struck out 974 batters in 1076 innings and permitted 892 hits.
