Detroit Trades Sanders for Toronto's Powell Tuesday, December 30th, 1997 After a week of negotiations, the Tigers and Blue Jays have come to terms on a deal that will send 30-year-old minor league LF Deion Sanders to Toronto for 26-year-old minor league RHP Brad Clontz and 24-year-old minor league LF Dante Powell.
