Toronto-Boston Trade: Jones for Fyhrie Friday, January 2nd, 1998 Fans in Toronto woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 26-year-old minor league CF Terry Jones to the Boston Red Sox. In return, the Blue Jays will receive 28-year-old RHP Mike Fyhrie. During his 38-game career Fyhrie has fashioned a 1-1 won-lost record. In 54 innings he has rolled up 49 strikeouts and a 7.67 ERA with no saves. |
