Loretta Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Milwaukee in Walk-Off Win
Despite the rain, the fans at Milwaukee County Stadium enjoyed a good ballgame.

The Milwaukee Creams did just enough to sneak past the Cleveland Spiders, 2-1, at Milwaukee County Stadium. Milwaukee pitcher Tommy Greene earned player of the game honors. The Creams, now 6-3, have been on a roll in the early going.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Mark Loretta came to bat in the bottom of the 13th. Facing Cleveland pitcher Steve Karsay, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Milwaukee on top, 2-1.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Cleveland manager .
