Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Marlins
Boston right fielder Dante Bichette had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Bichette was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4, even as Florida beat the Red Sox, 10-9. Bichette was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Marlins have an impressive 58-32 record.

Chad Curtis said the idea of hitting a home run barely crossed his mind when he came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Curtis belted a solo home run to stake Florida to a 10-9 lead. His 1st home run of the season came off Boston pitcher Frank DiPino.

"I like how we battled to the end," said Curtis.
