Chicago Cubs starter Mike Dunne kept the St. Louis Cardinals hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Chicago is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Cubs extended their lead in the top of the fourth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Don Mattingly hit a 2-run home run to make it 4-1, Chicago.

"I expect to pitch a complete game every time out," said Dunne.
