Twins Come Back Late to Clip Marlins
Minnesota Twins starter Pedro Astacio was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Florida Marlins, 6-3. Trevor Hoffman notched his 8th save in 12 chances. The Twins are now 44-53, while the Marlins fall to 63-34.

It could have been a different outcome for Minnesota, had it not been for Brent Gates, the 28-year old second baseman . Gates contributed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put Minnesota up, 6-3.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Astacio said.
