Extra-Inning Win by Cubs over Red Sox
The Chicago Cubs got a good effort from starter Scott Chiamparino in defeating the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The final score was 7-1. The win puts the Cubs at 36-61, while the Red Sox drop to 35-62.

Late-game drama came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, the batter, George Arias, hit a single. It helped Chicago seize the win.

"I found a nice groove out there," said Chiamparino.
