Diamondbacks Roll to 8-2 Win Over Mets
Arizona Diamondbacks starter Alex Fernandez turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Mets at Shea Stadium. The result was a win for the Diamondbacks, 8-2. The Diamondbacks are now 54-42, while the Mets fall to 56-40.

Arizona used the bat of Bobby M Estalella to get the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Arizona manager Alen Maglajac.
