Fordyce Helps Twins Run Win Streak to 3
The exploits of catcher Brook Fordyce helped the Minnesota Twins defeat the Orlando Devil Rays, 8-2. Fordyce went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Minnesota has 3 straight wins, Orlando 4 straight losses.

Fordyce contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Minnesota in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Fordyce took a fastball from Alan Benes and stroked the double to right. His 13th double of the season allowed the Twins to leap in front, 2-1.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Orlando manager Ben Tennyson. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
