Knights Roll Over Marlins, 9-2
Charlotte starter Fumiya Nishiguchi pitched effectively against the Florida Marlins at Comiskey Park. The right-hander led his team to a 9-2 win. Charlotte leads the Federal League Central Division by 2½ games.

The Knights beat the Marlins with some clutch hitting. The home run by Chris Hoiles in the bottom of the fourth is a good example. With two down, Hoiles gave his team the lead, 3-1, when he came through with the big hit.

Said losing manager Stephen Ginter: "Give the Knights credit. They took advantage of our mistakes."
