The Colorado Rockies got a good effort from starter Curt Schilling in defeating the New York Mets at Mile High Stadium. The final score was 5-2. The third-place Rockies have won 4 in a row.

Juan Gonzalez was the walk-off hero for Colorado. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rockies left fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Gonzalez said after the game.
