Garcia Leads Cardinals to Win
The St. Louis Cardinals and Milwaukee Creams lit up the scoreboard at Milwaukee County Stadium.

In a high-scoring game between St. Louis and Milwaukee, right fielder Karim Garcia was a difference-maker. The 22-year-old earned player of the game honors in the 20-9 St. Louis win. He was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. The Cardinals are now 57-53, while the Creams fall to 54-54.

Garcia put St. Louis up, 18-2, when he hit a 3-run home run off Wes Gardner in the top of the sixth. His 16th home run of the season helped the Cardinals capture the win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Garcia told the St. Louis Daily News.
