Twins Stay Hot With 10-3 Win
The Minnesota Twins trumped the Chicago Cubs, 10-3, at Metrodome. Minnesota left fielder Koji Akiyama was named player of the game for his performance. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winning streak has now reached 8 games for Minnesota.

Minnesota took a 6-3 lead on Larry Walker's 17th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Walker hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chicago pitcher Tim Davis shaking his head.

"We're playing like gangbusters right now," said Akiyama.
