Extra-Inning Win by Spiders over Reds
Cleveland pitcher Tommy Greene did his part in helping his team beat the Cincinnati Reds, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Dennys Reyes earned his 11th save in 12 chances. The win puts the Spiders at 42-69, while the Reds drop to 62-47.

Cleveland used the bat of Howard Johnson to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Spiders ahead, 5-3. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Johnson. "And not try to do too much."
