Multi-HR Game for Higginson in 10-7 Win
The Cincinnati Reds defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 10-7, at Busch Stadium. Cincinnati left fielder Bobby Higginson was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4 for 6 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The second-place Reds improved to 65-49.

It could have been a different outcome for Cincinnati, had it not been for Akira Eto, the 28-year old second baseman . Eto contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Cincinnati up, 3-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Higginson.
