Sheffield Delivers Clutch At-Bat for New York in Walk-Off Win
New York beat Baltimore on the strength of starter Randy Johnson's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. New York, now 9-3, is playing great baseball to start the year.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Gary Sheffield came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Baltimore pitcher Bryan Hickerson, he hit a 0-2 slider for a run-scoring double. It was a game-changer, putting New York on top, 4-3.
