Orioles Turn Back Los Angeles, 5-3
Los Angeles designated hitter Ryan Klesko had a good game, even if his team did not. The Dodgers dropped a 5-3 decision to Baltimore at Memorial Stadium. Klesko went 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks. Heathcliff Slocumb got the save, his 16th in 20 chances. Baltimore has now won 3 in a row.

Darryl Hamilton, who finished 2nd in the UL in doubles with 41 in 1990, aided the Baltimore cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder drove in one run.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Hamilton told the Baltimore Today. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
