Leftwich Dominates, Whitewashes Marlins
Phil Leftwich of the Milwaukee Creams humiliated the Florida Marlins at Milwaukee County Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 5 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Florida manager Stephen Ginter, after the game.

Leftwich whiffed 8 and walked 1 in the 3-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Leftwich said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

This year Leftwich has gone 8-8 with an ERA of 4.62 and has 83 strikeouts in 117 innings.
