Multi-HR Game for Hidalgo in 28-5 Win
A 6-RBI performance from Richard Hidalgo, who is on pace for 122 RBI this season, helped the Kansas City Royals beat the Cleveland Spiders, 28-5. Kansas City starter Justin Thompson was credited with the win after throwing 144 pitches over 8.1 innings. His record now stands at 17-5. The second-place Royals have won 5 in a row.

Hidalgo had a key at-bat for Kansas City early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 32nd double of the season and gave Kansas City an early 2-0 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Hidalgo told the Kansas City Today.
