Creams Solve Cardinals, 3-2
The Milwaukee Creams picked up a win at Busch Stadium, knocking off the St. Louis Cardinals, 3-2. Starting pitcher Jim Neidlinger was an essential part of his team's success. Steve Bedrosian got the save, his 15th in 16 chances. The Creams bumped their record to 67-66 with this latest triumph.

It could have been a different outcome for Milwaukee, had it not been for Tyler Houston, the 27-year old catcher . Houston contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Milwaukee up, 3-2.

"Jim was throwing strikes, locating well," said Milwaukee manager .
