Whalers Beat Visiting Swamp Foxes, 12-4
The Hartford Whalers topped the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 12-4, in Atlantic action at Wolves Ballpark. The player of the game was Hartford pitcher and San Bernardino, California native Shawn Estes. The win brings the Whalers to 8-6, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Wolves Ballpark crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"We played hard and won," said Estes. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
