Phillies Drop Another One
|
The game between Cincinnati and Philadelphia is in the books, despite a little rain.
Cincinnati Reds starter Mac Suzuki was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Phillies, 4-1. Arthur Rhodes finished to wrap up his 2nd save.
The Reds beat the Phillies in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Omar Vizquel produced in the top of the second. Batting against Philadelphia pitcher Glendon Rusch, Vizquel gave his team a 2-1 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.
"It feels good to get this one," Vizquel told the Cincinnati Gazette.
The Phillies fall to 5-10 and continue to sputter in the early going.
