The Asheville Moonshiners stopped the Milwaukee Otters, 5-4, at Stags Ballpark. The Moonshiners got a big game from Ricky Ledee, who belted 2 home runs. Jeff Juden picked up the save for Asheville, his 3rd of the year. The Moonshiners have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 6th win in 21 games.

Asheville used the timely hitting of Nelson Liriano to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Moonshiners on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but he made it count.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Liriano.
