The Florida Marlins picked up a win at Joe Robbie Stadium, knocking off the Cleveland Spiders, 7-2. On the mound for Florida was right-hander Rene Arocha, who played a pivotal role in the win. Arocha went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-0. The Marlins, now 10-5, have been red hot.
