The Asheville Moonshiners knocked off the Rochester Red Wings, 7-6, at Torrance Grounds. Yamil Benitez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Asheville won. The right fielder went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Asheville reliever Jeff Juden picked up the win to move to 1-3. Scott Sheldon suffered the loss.
