Big Day by Caceres Sparks Cyclones Win

The Brooklyn Cyclones beat the Bluff City Beasties, 8-1, at Ravens Ballpark. Edgar Caceres was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The 33-year old shortstop was a menace to Bluff City all day. With the win, Brooklyn goes to 18-23, while the Beasties fall to 20-21.
Caceres had a key at-bat for Brooklyn early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Brooklyn an early 2-0 lead.
Caceres told a Brooklyn Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
