Swamp Foxes Come Back Late to Clip Beasties
Starting pitcher Jimmy Haynes pitched well enough to help the Savannah Swamp Foxes beat the Bluff City Beasties by the score of 6-3. Dustin Hermanson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Jimmy Key was tagged with the loss. Valerio de los Santos closed it out for his 2nd save.

Jimmy Hurst had a nice at-bat for the Swamp Foxes with no one out in the bottom of the eighth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the right fielder hit a 2-run double, which would prove important in the Savannah win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Hurst.

Savannah is now 24-28.
