Hardtke Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Savannah in Walk-Off Win
|
The Paradise Grounds faithful were treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.
Starting pitcher Jin Ho Cho pitched well enough to help the Savannah Swamp Foxes beat the Milwaukee Otters by the score of 6-5. Savannah has now won 6 games in a row.
Savannah's win came gift-wrapped. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, with the game tied, Jason Hardtke reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run.
Cho said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
