Swamp Foxes Come Up Short at Buffalo
The Buffalo Bisons and Savannah Swamp Foxes obliged those fans who came to Aspinwall Grounds looking for a good time.

Buffalo left fielder Matt Stairs played a vital role in his team's 7-6 triumph over Savannah. He hit 2 home runs for Buffalo. Buffalo reliever Felix Heredia got the win, raising his record to 5-4. Ben Ford was tagged with the loss.

Buffalo took a 7-5 lead on Bob E Smith's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Savannah pitcher Will Brunson in the bottom of the seventh.

Stairs told a Buffalo Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

Savannah has now lost 4 straight.
