Cyclones Slip Past Rochester, 12-11
Rochester first baseman Matt Franco had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Franco went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3, even as Brooklyn beat the Red Wings, 12-11. Franco was named the player of the game despite the loss. Brooklyn reliever Darren Dreifort got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Scott Sheldon was tagged with the loss. Brooklyn's record now stands at 29-35, placing them 5th in the Atlantic Northeast.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Brooklyn trailing 11-10, Alex Arias hit a slider from Scott Sheldon to left for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Cyclones had a walk-off win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Arias said.
