Clement Dazzles in Las Vegas Win
|
Washington had no answer for Las Vegas Angels starter Matt Clement, who flummoxed Senators hitters as the Angels cruised to a 6-1 victory. Las Vegas, now 11-7, has gotten their season off to a good start.
Clement, the winner, is now 1-2 after putting the clamps on the Washington offense. In 8.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 earned run on 2 hits, while collecting 9 Ks.
