Swamp Foxes Fall Short at Hartford
The Hartford Whalers trumped the Savannah Swamp Foxes, 7-6, at Wolves Ballpark. Hartford second baseman David Bell was named player of the game for his performance. He was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning continues for Hartford, with the latest making it 12 straight.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and the bases empty, the batter, David Bell, hit a walk-off solo home run. It helped Hartford seize the win.

"We're playing like gangbusters right now," said Bell.
