Barrett Helps Otters Run Win Streak to 8
Michael Barrett was instrumental in his team's 18-8 triumph over the Rochester Red Wings. The catcher was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 for the Milwaukee Otters. Russ Ortiz was the winning pitcher. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 8 runs on 8 hits, with 5 walks and 7 strikeouts. Milwaukee has an impressive 63-29 record.

One significant plate appearance for Milwaukee came with no one out in the top of the third inning. Otters third baseman Russ Johnson hit a run-scoring double, which helped Milwaukee go on to win.

"The wins are coming in bunches right now," said Barrett. "We'll enjoy it while it lasts."
