Swamp Foxes Sneak Past Moonshiners, 4-3
The Savannah Swamp Foxes topped the Asheville Moonshiners by the score of 4-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Jason Hardtke. Hardtke went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Swamp Foxes on the day. Asheville is in the throes of a 18-game losing streak.

It could have been a different outcome for Savannah, had it not been for Danny Klassen, the 22-year old third baseman . Klassen contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Savannah up, 4-3.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Hardtke said.
