Hansen, Cyclones Too Much for Clippers
|
The Brooklyn Cyclones bested the Columbus Clippers, 6-4, at Mules Ballpark. Jed Hansen was named player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Brooklyn reliever Todd Erdos picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Jamey Wright shouldered the loss. Brooklyn's record now stands at 38-54, placing them 5th in the Atlantic Northeast.
Hansen had a key at-bat in the top of the second to put Brooklyn in front, 4-0. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hansen said.
