Otters Win Again, Extend Streak to 11
|
The Milwaukee Otters got a stellar effort from pitcher David Weathers, helping Milwaukee score a 4-1 win over the visiting Savannah Swamp Foxes. The wins continue to add up for Milwaukee, with the latest making it 11 in a row.
Milwaukee first baseman Tino Martinez contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a splitter into right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 102nd hit of the season and put the Otters ahead, 2-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Weathers told the Milwaukee Herald.
