Red Wings Continue Skid Thanks to Ledee, Moonshiners
The Asheville Moonshiners beat the Rochester Red Wings, 15-7, at Torrance Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of center fielder Ricky Ledee, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The misery continues for the Red Wings, which has now dropped 24 in a row.

Kevin L Brown had a big hit for Asheville in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Asheville leading 8-3, Brown hit a grand slam. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Moonshiners up, 12-3.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Moonshiners manager . "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
