Red Wings Lose, 5-1, at Paradise Grounds
|
Another game, another loss for the struggling Rochester Red Wings.
Savannah rode a fine outing from starter Jin Ho Cho to victory over the Rochester Red Wings at Paradise Grounds. The final score was 5-1. Reliever Will Brunson picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Jarrod Washburn took the loss.
Edgard Clemente contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases empty, he hit a triple. It was one at-bat that helped send Savannah to the win.
Cho called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The last-place Red Wings have lost 28 straight games.
