Bisons Come Back Late to Top Cyclones
|
Dmitri Young helped his team muscle past the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-5. In the game, the Buffalo right fielder went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Buffalo reliever Felix Heredia, now 11-6. The loser was Darren Dreifort. Joel Adamson got the save, his 2nd in 2 chances.
Young had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 3-1 fastball from Darren Dreifort, he banged a 2-run single to left-center, giving the Bisons a 6-5 lead. It was the 64th hit of the year for Young.
Young told a Buffalo Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
The third-place Bisons are now 66-53, the Cyclones 49-70.
