Victory Over Moonshiners Takes Danville to 80-37
Danville right-hander Willie E Adams pitched his team to victory over the Asheville Moonshiners at Torrance Grounds. The final score was 8-4. Danville is now 80-37, 16½ games up in the Atlantic Southeast.

Brant Brown had a big 2-run single for the Dairy Daddies in the top of the third inning. With Danville leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Matt Beech and stroked the single to left-center. It was his 112nd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dairy Daddies ahead, 4-0.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Brown said in postgame remarks.
