Rainiers Beat Visiting Buzz, 6-3
|
Troy Glaus drove in 4 runs to help Tacoma defeat Salt Lake City, 6-3. The third baseman had 1 double and 1 home run for the Rainiers. Cliff Young nailed down his 2nd save. The loss lowers the Salt Lake City record to 3-4.
With Tacoma trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Glaus hit a changeup from Ben Rivera for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Rainiers ahead, 3-1.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Glaus.
