Left Fielder Luke 4-5, Steals Spotlight in Naperville Rout

Naperville laid the wood on Salt Lake City at Bella Vista Grounds.
The Naperville Lazy Fisherman beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 17-3, at Bella Vista Grounds. The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Matt Luke, who captured player of the game honors. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Frank Seminara got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2.
Chuck Carr contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a single. It was one at-bat that helped Naperville get the win.

Naperville, now 6-3, has gotten their season off to a good start.
