Carr 3-5, Lazy Fisherman Move to 7-3
|
The Naperville Lazy Fisherman topped the Salt Lake City Buzz by the score of 13-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to center fielder Chuck Carr. Carr was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Lazy Fisherman on the day. The Lazy Fisherman, now 7-3, have been playing some good baseball.
With Naperville leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Carr hit a curveball from Tim Pugh for a run-scoring single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Lazy Fisherman ahead, 2-0.
