Storm Chasers Mow Down Buzz, 10-3
|
The Omaha Storm Chasers beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 10-3, at Maples Stadium. Dave Berg was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 27-year old second baseman was a menace to Salt Lake City all day. The Buzz drop to 7-7 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1998 season.
Mike Frank, who is tied for 4th in the PAC in doubles with 5, aided the Omaha cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
