Expos Continue Skid Thanks to Griffey Jr., Angels
A 4-RBI performance from the 1996 Most Valuable Player winner Ken Griffey Jr. helped the Las Vegas Angels beat the Montreal Expos, 6-4. Joe Hudson earned the save, his 5th. Las Vegas, now 13-8, has played well in the early going.

Griffey Jr. had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Ed Correa, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Angels a 6-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Griffey Jr..

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager David Polakoff. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
