Victory Over Chukars Takes Naperville to 10-6
Naperville Lazy Fisherman starter Charles Nagy turned in an exceptional performance against the Idaho Falls Chukars at Alleycats Ballpark, resulting in a Naperville win, 7-2. Nagy went 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 4, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-2. The Chukars drop to 6-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1998 season.

Naperville designated hitter Carlos Garcia went deep in the top of the first. His grand slam home run off Idaho Falls pitcher Brian Barnes put the Lazy Fisherman in front, 4-0. It was his 6th home run of the season.
